For a moment, Sera seemed pained, as if one of her words had pierced his heart with a poison dipped arrow, and then torn it out as hard as they could. To some degree, it looked as if his eyes had watered, if only just a moment, before returning to their more emotionless state. Once more, he turned to her and took a step in her direction, feeling that it would most likely be best for them both if they just left it there.

"Look, it's best you not know. I'm leaving tomorrow anyhow, what does it matter? So what if I did know you, or you knew me, by tomorrow we'd be forced to part again. Do you really think it's wise to just reintroduce ourselves and go through some painful separation?" As he said this, he opened the door a little more, hoping she would just get up and leave without further pushing the topic. "Not again...especially now that we know where we are...that alone won't compensate." he whispered to himself, unaware that she was close enough to hear this.

"If I really did know you and we were anything more than acquaintances, then I need to know this! Anyone that I've talked to and have formed some sort of bond with is important to me and I don't want to just let them go. Plus they're important for information. Anyone I've ever made a friendship with has always promised to find me more information on a friend that has gone missing or my brother if they ever go to Japan!" she clenched her fists. "If you really do know me then please let me know if you've been to Japan! Both Allen and my brother are there and that's important for me to find out as a side quest."

She couldn't control the words that seemed to ramble from her lips. She was feeling intense anger at this point because she was worried that he really was someone who could know information on Allen or Claec. She frowned as she then waited for his response. She refused to leave until she knew who he was for sure and if he was really a good friend or not. She didn't care if it would be a "painful separation" at this point. If he really was someone important to her (and if he was why didn't she remember?) then she'd simply resign from the mission and go back to Europe with him.

Sera fount himself in a bit of a corner now, as she pressed for the information harder and began to pout from how upset she had become. It made him feel almost powerless to refuse her the information, but was it really worth it? NO! No way! He couldn't do that, not again, not that the matter was out of their hands and he had to go. Yet the more he tried to struggle with her, fight back against those big blue eyes of her, the more eh found himself losing the battle, until at last he snapped under the pressure.

"God damn it! Why do you always do that?!" He exclaimed, shutting the door and locking it so no one could try and peak in if they had waken up and heard them talking, and turned away from her. "You always do this, I say no and you keep at it, stubborn as an ox. You stole my cookies, my juice, and candy. And now you want me to tell you all that I know? AUGH!" He turned then, and walked right past her, lighting a match and lit the candle in the corner of the room, before looking back at her out of the corner of his eyes. He took something then, from a drawer in his desk, and tossed it over to her. It glimmered as it fell beside her, and opened up, revealing a small picture inside.

Aemi listened to him for a moment and leaned back, almost growing very nervous when he began to raise his voice to her. The tone of his voice changed drastically as she then pursed her lips, understanding that he was truly hiding something from her. Still, it didn't add up to her. Stealing cookies and juice? She wouldn't do something so immature. That sounds like something she would have done if she were very young; not something while she was in the Order.

As she went to speak, a small item was tossed beside her and she looked at it for a moment to see that it had opened to reveal a picture. She looked at it for a moment to see that it had an infant held by a very familiar woman. She was beautiful and she couldn't help but feel that this was all too similar. She unclasped her necklace for a moment as she then opened it to reveal several pictures. One was of herself and her brother, Claec, while the other was of her parents, Giovanni and Ayako. The woman in Sera's picture looked just like Ayako, but with lifeless eyes... almost as though she was an Akuma.

"Wh-what is this... is this me..?" she whispered as she looked to the infant. "This is my mother.... who the hell are you!?" she couldn't help but raise her voice to him. Her eyes started to water as she glared at him, "Where did you get this picture--who are you!?" she tried to avoid the thoughts entering her mind. She didn't want to remember who he was, but her mind had already seemed to figure it out... she only hoped she was wrong. She didn't intend to meet him like this.

Sera groaned loudly then, and looked back at her, considering it for a moment. For the moment, he only had two choices, tell her, or be a douche. Which was better really? None. But with the way she glared at him, he could tell that she wouldn't leave until he had done either one, and so he would have to make a decision quickly before she decided to move in with him. Luckily, something began to occur which made it easier not to tell her, and have time to think about it later.

Just ways down the hall, a lantern was floating about, held by a young women on patrol. Should they catch them together, the worst would be though, or in this case, the more scandalous situation. Seeing as how they could both be demoted, in worst case, or scolded for their late night meeting, Sera took the opportunity to get her out of his room. Leaving the door only cracked up, he moved silently to her and pulled her up off his bed by the shoulders, dragging her forcefully to the door.

"Listen..." He whispered quietly into her ear, hoping to allow her to realize the change in the situation. "There's a guard coming, if she catches you here, which no doubt she will if you keep speaking so loudly, we'll both get in trouble. Rules of the house, we're not suppose to have meetings like this. Now...you can stay...shut up, and hide under the bed and hope she doesn't ask what all the noise was about. Or you can get out, and sneak out while you can, and we can talk about this later. Your choice." Regardless of what the decision was, Sera knew something to be true. Either way, he would have at minimal a few more minutes to think over his words, should she chose to stay. Because of this alone, he was going to take the gamble, either way, he won.

Aemi thought about it for a moment. She didn't see how it was a big deal for a moment, but then remembered that the Asian branch was much more strict than the European one due to the chiefs being much different. She pondered one what her next action would be and closed her eyes for a moment, trying to think about whether she truly wanted to leave or not. He still hadn't truly answered who he was. Hiding her trembling hands, she shook her head.

"I'm not leaving. I'll have to hide I guess..." she told him stubbornly. She wasn't intending to leave until she knew everything. Waiting for his response, she tried to put everything together. Since she and he seemed to have similar connections, she began to put two and two together... could he have been a relative then? Could it have truly been who she was hoping it would be? She wasn't sure if she was hoping it or fearing it though...
